I just thought i might do a blog dedicated to our big stories that we are all working on right now. I hope everyone is doing well with their stories and are keeping in close contact with their sources. Well...as for me, Mike Taheny, my number one resource for my "earthquake" story and who is also the emergency preparedness coordinator for public safety at USF, has not responded back to met yet for a little over a week now. I'm worried. I have called him and shot him a number of emails, but i'm sure things will go smoothly. I'm praying and hoping. This definitely gives us EXPERIENCE AND MOTIVATION AS STUDENT REPORTERS TO BE PERSISTENT AND DETERMINED TO GET WHAT WE NEED TO ACCOMPLISH IN THE FIELD OF JOURNALISM WHILE MAINTAINING PROFESSIONALISM.
